About using your Stars AccountAll
applicants are required to have a Stars account. Stars will communicate with
applicants via the Stars account with notices being sent via email.
- We recommend
applicants apply online, as this will afford you more options in submitting
documents and following the application process.
- If you are
applying online for the first time, you will set up your account at the start
of the application process.
- If you have
applied for Stars before, you can use existing credentials from last year. If
you don't remember your credentials select the "forgot password"
- Hard copy
applicants must wait for Stars to enter your application in to our system
before your Stars account is enabled.

account anytime Stars has made an update to their account.
- Emails will
be sent from "email@example.com". Please make sure you
check your junk/bulk mail boxes for emails from us.
- Applicants can review their application and check the status of
documents (pending, missing, approved, etc).
- Applicants can upload documents during the application period.

account and will see their status regarding their award offer.
Please make sure you review our application process before contacting us regarding your application status. Due to the volume of applicants, we will NOT review or update accounts immediately upon receiving your documents.
Once you log
in, you can go to "Application Status" and view documents:
- Pending Review" status means that we have received the document, however
Stars has not reviewed it yet.
status means that Stars has received your document and it has been approved and
no further action is needed.
status means that Stars has received your document however it does not meet the
document requirements. A reason will also be provided.
Received" status means that Stars did not receive the document at all and
you must send it. If you did sent it, it is possible it was lost in the mail or
the fax/email did not come through and you will need to resend it. Make sure
you keep a copy of all your documents and track how/when you sent them to us.

We encourage all applicants to "like"
our Facebook page. We post updates during the processing and review periods. In
case you don't receive your emails, you will at least be able to see where in
the process we are. In addition we will post updates on our website.
